Pineapple Fried Rice Set

RM18 off the menu. -20% discount with KindMeal. Almost through the whole set menu. Pretty soon I'm going to have to go for dishes. Fried rice comes with 'prawns' and 'luncheon meat', along with pineapple bits. Decent fried rice with more ingredients in it than I expected. But if it were a fight, I would place the Yongchow fried rice from this place ahead of this one. That one had loads more 'wok hei'. Served with the mango salad, and brownie on the side.

I don’t think I’ve actually had #thaifood since going vegan! 🌱 What a wonderful way to break my fast from #thai cuisine honestly 😋 The #friedrice was excellent and reminded me of all the great restaurants of past that have since died since the pandemic 🥲 Even in terms of meat content! Now the funny thing about this restaurant is that you’ll see no mention of the food being vegan or plant-based anywhere! There’s shrimp this, pork that, and unless you actually look out for the vegan propaganda written on the walls (I didn’t and had to double check with them 🥴), you wouldn’t know that your food wasn’t omnivorous! Talk about living in the future! You know, cause surely us 2022 humans know that eating animals is a relic of the past 😉 The rice had very convincing bits of #veganprawn 🍤 and #veganpork 👮‍♂️ with the both mimicking the looks very closely! @synthwave0470 was super blown away on the taste of the prawn, what about that 😄 #omnivoreapproved I’m definitely doing a repeat visit of the place next time I’m in PJ/KL, this place is awesome!
