Nom Nom Rendang Burger

@dafnelately can sometimes have [#]wrongopinions but her take on ordering #rendang at a #burger place (in Singapore at that) is a sound one. Flavour was weak, spice was nowhere, the #soypatty was crunchy but offered little else, and the use of Uncle Saba's shelf-stable #poppadum crisps was downright bizarre 🤷‍♂️ I added the JustEgg for $2.50 but that was arguably the wrong choice - what this needed was flavour, not heft 😐

This is a great mixture of their best soy patty topped with rendang curry paste and crispy chips makes it a delicious burger. Not the typical tomato and lettuce kinda thing :)

I’m a big fan of rendang with almost anything, except maybe peanut butter, but I’d even be willing to give that a try

This is my first time trying this burger. Not bad….quite filling though. It comes with two pieces of Japanese cucumber slices. That are chewy and very refreshing when you bit on them. My first time eating Japanese cucumber and didn’t know that it is so nice and refreshing to eat. Feeling very Good after that. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I found another one of my top favourite burgers in Nomvnom! The burger today was nicely prepared. Despite take-away, the burger remains warm and the papadum still retains its crisp. This is the first time I am having their soy patty and I enjoyed it even more than the lion mane mushroom patty. The rendang paste was spicy and it was rich but not sinful at all. Totally recommend this for those who have a more Asian taste bud. 😋
