Mango Sticky Rice

As a mango sticky rice die-hard, I felt like I had to try this. I’ve been spoiled with mango sticky rice unfortunately, having eaten so many of them in Southeast Asia, this one just could not compare. The mango was not nearly as sweet or fresh as I’m used to, and the sticky rice was definitely too congealed and not light at all. I liked the addition of peanuts (although crispy mung beans are the ultimate), and the coconut cream was ok. A truly sad awakening that I am not in Asia anymore:( #mangolover 🥭 #disappointed
