Magic Mushrooms

Great pasta & big portion. A bit too heavy but their cocktails were awesome!

This dish is wild mushrooms in a speciality vegan white wine sauce on golden turmeric pappardelle topped with mushroom and turmeric crumble and drizzled with truffle oil. This was the dish that I was most interested in and is also the highest priced one (£13). I am sooo happy I got this dish, it did not disappoint in any way. Mushrooms are such a winner because of the umami that they have which is why this dish was incredible. It was creamy and I made sure not to leave anything. It’s also a good portion size, not small like other places can be and not so large that it gets overly filling. I feel like I’ve found my favourite dish on the first visit but begrudgingly also feel like I should give the other dishes a chance.

This was a very tasty dish, I would definitely have the same thing if I were to visit this restaurant again. There are very few vegan cheeses I enjoy but I did like the taste of the cheese in this dish. It was comforting and filling! My non-vegan friends who chose other dishes were less impressed with their food so I’m very happy I picked this. I would definitely recommend choosing the Magic Mushroom pasta, if you choose to visit Punk Pasta. 🍝

Favourite dish from an awesome restaurant. It's perfectly mushroomy, with lovely parpadelle pasta. Great vibes here (lots of emphasis on sustainability, climate friendliness). Entirely vegan menu. #veganlondon #pasta #veganpasta
