Those crispy #chips on the side were also amazing. Love it that they didn't try to be too healthy and come up with air-fried or baked or boiled nonsense for me ☺️
realistic. How on earth does Green Rebel Foods do it?? I was literally second guessing myself the entire time that it wasn’t actually beef;- and the #rendang too was so well made! Packed and exploding with flavour, the #burger was nothing more than a means for transporting the rendang. I actually ate the buns and rendang separately, bit by bit, just so I could extend the whole dining experience. I might just get this again today 💕
The texture is chewy and the amount of rendang sauce is minimal so it didn’t get messy while eating. The chips were alright, it could be more crunchy.
The fries are also crispy 👌
taste was good, succulent and spicy! Great for those who like fusion dishes. ($16) Btw the Green Rebel mushroom 'beef' rendang is also sold as a retail item at the plant-based butcher. ($6/150g) Contains alliums.
