Mochi Waffles with gelato

Walked in and I decided immediately on the Mochi Waffles served with matcha °1 gelato. It did not disappoint at all! The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft chewy mochi on the inside. Matcha °1 gelato was creamy and not overly sweet. Even the sprinkle of genmai though tiny but was very fragrant!

Yum ! Chewy and stretchy (my friend couldnt tell tho) , I think the wheat ones go better with waffles but these are a nice chnage and less cinnamonny!

These mochi waffles were noticeably crispier on the outside as compared to the normal version! Nicely stretchy and chewy on the inside without being challenging to chew. Love the addition of cinnamon & matcha powder on top — really adds another dimension to the flavour profile 😋🌟 #mochi #waffles

Waffles was crispy on the outside and soft/ fluffy on the inside. Mochi was within the waffles and had a chewy texture. Drizzled with maple syrup and topped with toasted rice. Choice of gelato here is their matcha gelato. Gelato was smooth and creamy. Prefer their regular dairy free waffles to this but it’s just my preference! Will definitely be back to try other things on their menu! Love their space at Craig Road!

I actually really like the unique texture of the Mochi waffles! It still has the “crispy outside, soft inside” texture but with added chewy Mochi texture!
