To make this drink vegan, I ordered it without white chocolate and with oat milk.
I’ve had it before in store, and it’s a lot more lovely in a mug! I would have loved to sit inside, but even during COVID times, this place was super crowded and felt unsafe to be at. The takeout version sipped carefully in my car is still lovely, but I wish they cared more about social distancing and occupancy limits. I can’t imagine they’re really allowed to have that many people in there.
The flavors in this drink are good and it’s a change from my usual matcha latte. However, for $8 (plus another dollar for oat milk), it’s not entirely worth it in my opinion. I wish this place had more vegan options! I can get a plain oat milk latte anywhere nowadays and messing around with modifications gets old. For the price, I’d love to see something more inventive for drinks and some vegan breakfast options would be phenomenal.
