Vegan Fish and Chips

What an interesting experience! This vegan fish is banana blossom and it blew my mind that it had the little ‘bones’ found in fish. I didn’t love the tartare sauce - it was too salty. It’s fun to see places getting creative with whole foods.

A little on the oily side, but enjoyed the banana blossom and loved the tartar sauce.

Did not enjoy this unfortunately. The batter on the banana blossom was extremely oily, as were the fries. The blossom itself could have done with some flavouring.

I couldn’t have been more excited to try this and Brik didn’t let me down. Excellent flavour, hearty and nutritious to boot. Special mention goes to the aquafaba tartar sauce… DELICIOUS!

The best vegan fish I have ever tried, hands down. Beautiful texture, not too dry, light batter. Banana blossom is an absolute winner when it comes to making vegan fish. Delicious tartar sauce and sweet potato fries. #abillionlove
