Already one week ago, my husband took me out for dinner at this fancy restaurant, one we can't afford in normal occasions, but this was a really special one, as we celebrated my birthday, the first one as a mum. I knew Anoah from the vegan food festival in Zurich in 2023, when the chef Noah Rechtsteiner hold a workshop, and I followed them sporadically on social media. So this was a really special surprise, and it was blessed by the most beautiful weather, thanks to which the whole dining experience was placed in the garden, even a part of the kitchen was placed there. And I love to stay outside, especially when surrounded by many trees and immersed in such a beautiful atmosphere.
We were welcomed with an #amusebouche that I didn't photograph, but it was the best start. Then we had this sort of destructured salad, which they called "Fancy Fennel". There was a #fennel cream, with "bronze fennel", #pumpkinseeds , roasted #shallots, #orange and #grapefruit slices. Really nice and refreshing!
