Part 2 of our birthday dinner of last week at Anoah. This was the second course of our 5-courses menu and I absolutely enjoyed the word play in the name: the veggies with style, but also the veggies with stem 🤣 so, surprise surprise, we got an #asparagus course, with a lovely presentation. Due to the name, I would have expected some longer asparagus parts, but of course it's a fancy restaurant and that wouldn't have worked with the micro size of the plate. The nice thing: they used three different kind of asparagus (the "Ährenspargel", a wild type, came separately because they forgot to add it on the plate, so we dished it - 2nd pic - but I doubt the disposition would have been like that). As base, a #sauce #hollandaise in vegan amd some #chimichurri .
This was my husband's favorite course. Mine is the third one, which I will review another day.
