First time trying Yves bacon, and it was ok. Nothing spectacular compared to other vegan

bacons I’ve tried. Rather than getting crispy it kind of just dried up. The flavour was ok, could’ve been a bit smokier in my opinion. Overall, nothing to write home about, but not bad. #veganbacon #breakfast

I’m surprised it’s taken me so long to try these. I cooked up a few

strips this morning for a BLT sandwich. The strips feel a little rubbery out of the package, but cook up nicely without the splashing grease. A couple hours later, my place still smells like bacon (not a complaint).

The nutritional profile looks pretty good, something that pork bacon can’t claim. 😁

I like that this is a Canadian company, which also makes great mock meat products.

These bacon strips are great — they could be a little more smoky, but they cook up nicely. They’re thicker than the Lightlife brand and don’t break apart as easily. You get a lot in a package too!

Tried as "bacon bits" in a roll. By itself, when crunchy, its not the best,

but worked really good for the roll. Also tried it as a bacon strip, flavour was good, texture was like a deli meat, not bacon.
