Plantlove sausage roll

It was okay... bordering on salty sometimes but an okay buy if you in the

mood for a pastry of this sort.

The filling was average, nothing moreish. The pastry wasn't great, just good enough to do the job.

This is a classic take on convenience sausage rolls. Very enjoyable and super filling. The

first time I had it with Woolies’ sticky rice because I thought the pie might leave me hungry. The sticky rice was completely unnecessary. I’ve gone back for this sausage roll another two times and it is very filling on its own.

Flaky pastry with a flavourful soya “sausage” filling 😍

I’m not a huge fan of the fact that these are prepared with the Spinach and Feta pies and that they’re displayed with all the non-vegan options though.

Priced at R34.99 which I don’t think is terrible - when you’re looking for something quick and on the go, this is probably one of the cheaper options you’ll find.

Yay to Woolies for doing a vegan pie! And priced the same as the other

veg pies. Unfortunately, the sausage is a bit dry and quite salty. The pastry is flaky enough. Not sure whether would easily buy again. The Fry's one is much better. #blackcatsofabillion #blackcatsofabv
