I bought this out of curiosity and because I like a bit of heat 🌶

and it was actually so delicious and the texture was impressively similar to that of biltong! I just wish this was more than 20g because it was good! A little pricey for the size, but a nice and spicy treat! So chuffed with Woolworths for continuing to make their vegan range bigger and better 😁

Bought this because it was so unusual...and it is really tasty, with a spicy kick.

The texture is very close to dry biltong snapsticks - but the tiny pieces make it less satisfying to the mouth.

Nutritional content is pretty decent per 100g: 16.2g P; 13g C; 6.3g F; 14.3g Fibre; 1403kJ/335kCal

BUT the portion size is only 20g with an obscene amount of sodium - this is not the snack for you if you’re looking for something to “fill you up”, “tide you over” or to “hit the spot”...!

I don’t recall the exact price, but at over R30.00 for 20g I can’t imagine I’ll be buying this again.
