Essentially this is just apple juice that has been reduced to a syrup. I found

it incredibly sweet - which is to be expected since it’s basically just sugar. For what it is, it’s very expensive (roughly R64). Taste and value wise, I’ll stick to golden syrup. #applesyrup #syrup

Just as delicious as the Herbivore one (a little more expensive). Texture is identical to

honey, with of course an apple taste, but it's not very noticeable when used in other things. I use it just as I'd use honey or maple syrup - on waffles, in tea, for baking and in some dishes that need a sweetener. Great product.

Love this apple syrup over pancakes or porridge. It doesn’t taste like a honey replacement
