#bread #veganbread #wonder #vegan #veganisnotscary #wholewheat #wholewheatthinbread #wholewheatbread I don’t think I’ve ever seen Wonder Whole Wheat Thin bread before. I’ve had and reviewed the Wonder Thin Sliced bread (white bread) before, so it’s seems logical to have the whole wheat counterpart. It was on sale recently at No Frills for $2.00. I think it’s normally priced at $2.99 which I wouldn’t pay. I normally buy No Name bread for $1.99. The idea of having thinner slices with fewer calories and carbs appeals so much to me. Two slices weigh 54 grams and have 140 calories. This compares to two slices of normally sliced Wonder bread which weighs 75 grams and has 200 calories. It’s a proportionate reduction. The carbs and sodium are reduced similarly. The loaf size is the same (675 grams), so naturally, there will be more slices in each loaf. This thinly sliced bread has the same sponginess and taste as its regular counterpart. Perhaps this should be my go-to bread.
