This was a really lovely sausage roll. The pastry was lovely and flaky, but not oily. The “sausage” had a nice consistency and flavour. Nice surprise of a little bit of tomato sauce inside the pastry on top of the sausage!

• Toot toot, driving home from the office road snack! 🚙 Fantastic to see a gas station expanding their vegan range here in New Zealand; I counted FOUR options at the Wild Bean Café found inside BP petrol stations! ✌️😍✌️ One of those being this vegan sausage roll for $2.99 and featuring everything you’d usually come to expect of such a thing. There was no disappointing factor for it being plant-based, whatsoever. It was hot, ready to eat, and had a flaky pastry exterior with a chunky, herby, oaty inside. I enjoyed this very much!
