This is one of my favorite pita breads! Whole Wheat and again minimal ingredients. The funny thing is I love this bread crunchy kinda like making your own pita chips. I pop in microwave for 2 min 30 sec (no more or will burn) and let sit for a minute then punch the popped up bread and break into pieces! Dip in to hummus or any kinda dip. I made a dip that my dad used to make (May he RIP ❤️). I think mine came out a little greener lol. It’s basically a can of drained fava beans blended with tomato, onion, garlic, parsley (or cilantro) salt, pepper and lime. I added a jalapeño for heat. He would add EVOO but I wanted to keep it low fat so I didn’t. You can eat it heated up or cold. Delicious both ways!!
