Me: “Hmm, I should eat salad once in a while.” Also me: “You know what would go great in a salad? Buffalo chick’n and ranch dressing!” These soy nuggets from Whole Foods (from their refrigerated section across from the salad bar) are ... fine. I think half of one serving is enough to satisfy your craving, because I got really tired of them toward the end and left some pieces for the trash bin. Maybe I should’ve tried heating these up first; cooking may help the texture, which is a bit rubbery. I just think you’re better off using Gardein or another brand’s chick’n that you could coat in buffalo sauce. These nuggets are expensive and I don’t think they’re any more worth the price than your run of the mill plant-based nuggets. I’m annoyed that I’m disappointed in them because I’ve been eying them for awhile. Don’t follow your heart, kids!
