This violife butter was used for all cooking and baking at christmas time. It tastes very rich and ‘buttery’ - sounds silly but a lot of vegan butters taste like plain fat. A good choice that is moderately priced in my area. #violife #veganbutter #ditchdairy
CONTAINS COCONUTS This is just ok. I’m still trying to finish it. I purchased it at Jewel. It’s very light tasting. I don’t feel like it has much of a flavor. It’s pretty solid texture wise. I’m not a fan so I don’t think this is something that I’ll be getting again. There’s others that I like more. Wayfare has a really good vegan butter that I like and I will be reviewing it in the future. I don’t know. I think I might see if I can give this away and buy a better tasting vegan butter. It’s an ok taste, very grease to the point that it doesn’t harden in the fridge. Not very salty so, if you expect to taste the saltiness , it’s not the case. It also leaves a grease feeling behind, saying, my mouth and lips feel grease long after eating it. Not bad but not my first option.
I don't usually get salted #butter because, why add the extra #salt, but my husband bought this at the store this week. It's actually really tasty! Tastes like real butter to me, honestly. Spreads well, too (at least when it's softened, not right out of the fridge). However, I hate that it doesn't come in sticks so I can't accurately measure how much I'm using - makes it not very useful for cooking or for calculating macros. Because of this, I'm just using it as spreadable butter for toast and such, which is more easily done with tubbed butter.
