Such a weird name for #cheese - not sure if they’re trying to avoid calling it mozzarella or if it’s a legal issue 🧀 My #lidl only carries this a few weeks out of the year, when they have ‘vegan week’. The price point was very good so I thought I would give it a try. While the flavour is alright, this cheese struggled to melt well for me at times. I’m not sure if I would repurchase it again.

Una delle migliori secondo me, non ho provato a metterla in forno quindi non so come si comporta sciogliendosi, ma ho fatto un panino con pomodoro e questa mozzarella e mi è piaciuta parecchio, costa la metà di quella Violife e ha un sapore meno deciso, che secondo me è meglio. Approvatissima 🤩
Although I'm not the best at telling the difference between the various vegan cheeses on the market, I could definitely tell that this cheese will not melt to a smooth consistency and stays lumpy. I had tried to use it as a cheese sauce, not as a pizza topping and that's how I knew it comes out lumpy. So it probably is more suited to be a pizza topping. #vegancheese #veganlondon #supermarket
A mussarela da Vemundo é uma opção vegana feita com fécula de batata, água, óleo de coco, óleo de canola, entre outros ingredientes. Quando aquecida o queijo derrete e fica elástico. Ela tem sabor suave e agradável.
Very nice cheese for €2. The taste is not so strong as other cheeses which is great. Melts really nicely 👍🏻
