I loooove these vegie delight asian cakes! Delicious pan fried and served with an asian

flavoured pesto I make using fresh asian herbs, cashew nuts, chili, ginger, lime juice, brown sugar, oil and vegan fish sauce. Some vermicelli noodles, avo and crisp salad.
YUM!! Perfect summer dish!

I really like the taste and texture of these Thai Chilli & Lime

cakes. They remind me of actual fish cakes and they have quite a nice flavour too. Paired with an Asian salad and/or rice, it’s a nice quick meal, the kids always approve 😋👍🏾

These went nice and crispy on the outside when I cooked them in the sandwich

press. There’s a hint of chilli but I couldn’t taste any lime. It has an unusual stringy texture that I’m guessing is meant to mimic fish. Good substitute if you miss eating fish cakes #veganisnotscary #veganfish

These were really good. I just cooked them in the oven. A little bit spicy.

Mostly vegetable protein and vegies (potato, onion, shallots, capsicum). #veganisnotscary #thaifood

The taste is good.. I can’t tell you about the texture since I’ve never eaten

seafood but it was soft.. not very chewy..
I felt they were a bit too oily even though I roasted them in the pan without any oil.
