This was amazing #vanillaicecream ! 😋😋🍨 We made coffee icecream (we say mokka ice but idk if that’s an english word?) by mixing instant coffee with the vanilla ice cream. Huge hit, we hosted a dinner for family and everyone loved it as a #dessert ! 😃😃 Will buy this again very soon! Probably this week again 🤪 🍨 📌 Bought at #albertheijn for €5,99 (expensive damn)

This stuff is genuinely good! No watery taste, but nice and creamy. It is not cheap, around EUR 4,50 per tub, but other (dairybased) icecreams from this brand are similarly priced. Non-vegans have tried it too, and can't tell a difference with their old favourites. Would like to see varieties to this, as the dairy based type has many other options, and for vegans there is now only one option.
It tastes okay. I'd prefer less sugar and more actual vanilla. I like the texture, it's easy to scoop straight out of the freezer, you don't need to let is sit to get a bit softer. Mouth feel is nice and rich, while not too fatty. At €4,06 for 900 g, it's pricey like all vegan ice-cream is, unfortunately. Won't go out of my way to buy this again.
Somehow I settle on something thinking I cannot have a better chocolate bar or "cheese" or, like in this case, an ice cream - and then I try a new product that is blowing away the previous! It was the case with this "gelato". No trace of watery flavor and texture but creamy and full of vanilla. My favorite... Until the next one 😉
Really good, so creamy, and easy to reuse packaging, I just hate that my money would go to a corporate like Unilever
