I was craving some kaya toasts recently and decided to buy this kaya spread from Shopee. As someone who used to love kaya, I was a bit disappointed because this tastes more like a gulamelaka spread than a kaya one. Regardless, for anyone who love gula maleka this would be a treat for you :)

Smooth and creamy with prominent flavours of coconut and pandan. The kaya has slight pumpkin flavour as its base is pumpkin, adding a delightful aroma to the borderline caramel-like flavour. Really flavourful and lovely to spread on toast or crackers or used as a topping.
