Let me just get this out the way: vEEF plant-based "bacon" bits are absolutely delicious.

DEE-LISH-USS.

The name of the product is a bit of a misnomer, though, as the product doesn't come in 'bits' but instead a solid block of mock bacon 'meat' which you need to partially thaw (per recommendations to store it in the freezer), and then crumble in to bits yourself.
Aside from this, I have only highly positive things to say about this product.

Once partially thawed, the "bacon" crumbles easily, and the bits cooks up unbelievably crispy. I cooked this product in a non-stick pan with no added oils, and I can not fault the texture or the overall outcome of the "bacon".

The smell and taste of the "bacon" bits once cooked is unbelievably like how I recall real bacon to taste, with my mouth watering the whole time the smell was wafting throughout the kitchen.

vEEF's plant-based "bacon" bits have me desperately searching for as many vegan recipes that I can add "bacon" to as I can, and I can't recommend this product more highly to anyone looking to fill the "bacon" void.

Amazing pizza topping.
Delicious alternative to bacon. (Non vegan) partner was agreeable to them.

Veef bacon bits... I really wanted these not to taste life bacon flavoured crisps /

chips (UK frazzles) like every other fake bacon does.... But unfortunately did..

Needless to say they crisped up well and have a bit of salty crunch on my avo on toast so they did redeem themselves on a textural salty level.

I'd use them again. They would be good on a salad or even a burger.

Tempeh salad with vEEF bacon bits! Baked it in the oven for about 10 mins

and it came out very crispy! Loving the flavour!

Good stuff, added a delicious crunch to my vegan Mac and cheese. I think it

could be used to pimp up a lot of dishes, I think my favourite restaurant (grassfed) uses them on their loaded fries.

They come out of the packet in a big block and you wait for it to defrost before hacking at it and chucking the pieces into a frying pan and breaking it up with a wooden spoon till the little pieces that result are nice and crispy.

I can imagine Silco snacking on these by themselves the old blighter hahaha. Don't eat them by themselves Silco you're supposed to put them on a salad or something! šŸ˜‚ Am I right everyone
