Cocojune’s mixed berry overnight oats were exemplary, so the #vanilla flavor should be just as delectable, right? Actually, wrong. Although this cup actually has a little more added sugar, it’s incredibly, unpleasantly tart and seems to be missing the subtle sweetness that I enjoyed so much in the fruit-infused version. The tang of the #yogurt overpowered everything, including the vanilla bean. I honestly had to force myself to finish. For some reason, this one also seemed slightly more chunky/clumpy, although perhaps I was finding things to nitpick in my dissatisfaction. Such a shame, as it has a lot going for it — clean and #organic ingredients, gut-friendly probiotic cultures, and even plastic-free packaging. My verdict: skip this flavor! I was so disappointed, and based on my understanding of my abillion friends’ tastes, I would guess that most would not find this remotely enjoyable. Anyhow, you can make something significantly better by combining your favorite vanilla yogurt with a scoop of old-fashioned rolled oats, chia/flax seeds, and a little extra liquid.
