My mom picked this up in the States and she brought it back for my bridal shower. Hilariously, my mom, aunt and cousin (who made the #falafel) had no idea what falafel tastes like so they weren't sure if what they created actually tasted good or not LOL It ended up being so yummy! I kinda liked the grainy texture LOL! Lots of people complimented how good it tasted. My family who cooked it were so relieved ahah My mom said the box mix cost her $3 American. It made A LOT of falafel. I would suggest people picking this up next time they are at Trader Joe's.

I love to cheat by using falafel mixes. This is the best one I’ve tried. TJs is killer! More vegan stuff please!
This mix is very easy to work with — just add water — and a good value buy (each box yields around 27.) It only takes about an hour to prepare, most of which is passive time, and I love the convenience of enjoying falafel hot from the oven without having to worry about soaking beans far in advance. It makes for a filling meal or snack, but my one complaint is that the mix is a bit salty for my taste.
Easy to make. Add more spices to customize. Good with pita and dip.
