Goodbye, Crisp Crunchy Crisps! Sadly, according to a sign posted in the #chips aisle at my location, this legume-and-potato-based #snack appears slated for discontinuation. One can only hope that their spot on the shelf will be occupied by another vegan snack. It’s a shame, because I really liked them. The crisps indeed live up to their crisp and #crunchy billing! They are airy yet firm, with a nice snap to them, and they have a subtle pea flavor that’s augmented by a light dusting of super-fine sea salt. Despite their simplicity, I found them charming and winsome. They’re tasty and great for those moments when your mouth is feeling a bit bored. Although I didn’t use them for dips, I sense that they’d pair wonderfully with hummus! Pay your respects by picking up one final bag ($2.29) before they’re gone.

Perfect snack for when you’re hungry but shouldn’t be snacking and don’t want to add calories to your day. The taste is pretty muted but the crunch and texture are great.
These crisps are crunchy. Crisp, too. I could’ve come up with a better name than crisp crunchy crisps. Chickpea-pea-muncho-munches. Are you paying attention Trader Joe’s?
