I visited her again this Christmas and I sampled Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese. I had heard of this product before, but had never seen it, bought it or tried it before. While preparing for a little get together, my 9 year old niece filled celery stalks with it. Her work can be seen in the last photo and I made sure I ate all of them. I thought the taste of this Tofutti was ok. Maybe because it wasn’t flavoured, it seemed rather bland. I was expecting it to like cream cheese, but its taste was a little different. Different, but not bad or terrible. Nutritionally, I like that it’s high in fibre and low in sodium. I don’t know the cost, but I assume it was pricey considering it was from Fresh Direct. Instead of getting this unflavoured Tofutti product again, I would be willing to try a flavoured version.

I've always seen #tofutti #creamcheese but this was my first time trying it because I had always gone for the other brands. I know this is the plain flavor so it will be a bit more basic, but it didn't really taste like a cream cheese. I always set my expectations that it won't be exactly the same but it can still be tasty. Overall it was nice, especially when I added some garlic seasoning and chili flakes/crisp. I'm not sure if I would get it again but it wasn't bad and I gladly finished the tub. Added this to my toasted #bagels and when I was making bagel breakfast sandwiches:) It was just under $5 for the container. #glutenfree Edit: holy cow that's a lot of saturated fat! I didn't see that when I initially glanced at the label
