I really wanted to love this....but I find it a bit bland, like it's missing some things? I ended up mixing in some salsa and shredded "cheese" and eating it with some tortilla chips.
cooked beans (water, black, pinto and white kidney beans, chickpeas), new mexico chile tomato sauce (fire-roasted tomatoes, water, apple cider vinegar, chiles (new mexico, ancho, chipotle), onions, expeller pressed canola oil, garlic, salt, fire-roasted red bell pepper puree, tomato paste, paprika), cooked grain blend (water, brown rice, white rice, red rice, amaranth), fire-roasted red bell peppers, red onions, fried plantains (plantains, palm oil), leafy greens (kale, chard, spinach), and cilantro.

I never purchase microwaveable meals, but I saw this at the store for a steal so I decided to try it out. It was fairly easy to prepare, so it was nice for a quick meal. The taste was a bit sweet, I did like the plantain I thought that added a nice touch. I’m not sure if I would seek it out again, but it is fun to try new things and this definitely caught my eye. 4/5.
Product is good however I noticed there is palm oil in it. I just recently learned that there is no such thing as sustainable palm oil so I will not be purchasing this again.
Not bad at all. For a frozen meal it tasted good, with a rounded sweetness complementing the different spices. It's low on the calorie side as well at 350. And definitely brownie points for partially biodegradable/compostable packaging
So good! Love all the beans and the sweetness from the plantains!
