I finally took the plunge and brewed my own kombucha! Would it have been
cheaper to parse out each product on its own? Perhaps, but having all of the items that I needed (minus the bottles for the finished product) all together was so helpful - not only because it is convenient but also because I didn’t have to worry that I missed something or would mess something up by going rogue.
This kit produced some very tasty booch! I’m really enjoying my first batch and batch two is brewing. The booch is yummy on its own and nice with flavors added. Mine brewed for 14 days and was nice and bubbly but not overly vinegary.
Now I will experiment with different amounts of sugar and different flavors when they’re ready to bottle.
Would recommend to folks who’d like to give it a try! Now that I have the goods and know the process the only expenses are tea, sugar and any flavors I want to add. Will definitely be a money saver!
The included sugar is #organic and therefore vegan friendly.
