VEGANdevouring this ice cream! My mum didn’t like it though and found it was rather bland. I guess it depends on individual tastes but I will definitely want to buy this again! Not bad for an avocado ice cream.
buying a lot of The Ice Cream & Cookie Co. products. The Avocado Smoothie is my favourite drink whenever it is on the menu. So this is a must try when I saw it on the shelf. Waited for a nice ocasion to dig in. I tasted spoon after spoon. Sorry to say this, I don't enjoy this at all. I am ususlly generous with my reviews. But this is really not making the cut for an avocado gula melaka fan. It is too rich & creamy that it is not natural. The sweetness is overwhelming and feels sickly like when a kid had too many sweets at one go. The swirls of gula melaka has the right dark colour but it does not have the caramel butterscotch coconutty taste. Upon looking at the ingredients, it does not show gula melaka but palm sugar. I wonder if it is really palm sugar or coconut palm sugar, which are different plants & offer different taste. Net of it, I felt it was too thick and sweet for me. Will not buy this flavour again. Well, at least my pictures of the unboxing and various angles does justice for the efforts to make a vegan local product. Hope you keep this up! 💖🌈
