These burgers were pretty standard, but tasty! 13g of protein per burger and fortified with vitamins and nutrients like most of the other Yves products. They are a little smaller and thinner in size than most other veggie burgers I have tried. The plastic packaging is annoying and wasteful - a set of 2 burgers are packed together in a tough plastic vacuum sealed type packaging. It was difficult to open and the 2 burgers were stuck together. My husband thought it was just a single burger and almost threw it on the BBQ like that.

I picked up this pack of The Good Veggie Burger by Yves Veggie Cuisine at Grocery Outlet for $1.99 or $2.99. It’s a good deal either way as the package contained 4 burgers. Two burgers are stacked in each non-recyclable plastic container (🙁), but for whatever reason, I thought the container had 1 really thick burger. It was only while I was cooking it that I discovered I was actually cooking 2 burgers. So I had a double veggie burger for lunch. These veggie burgers look and taste like their meat counterpart. Yves has done a great job replicating it (let’s face it, we all like the taste of meat, but not how it ends up on our plates). I just wish meat eaters would at least be open to sampling these burgers with an open mind. Each burger provides so many nutrients, some in large quantities (like fibre, protein, vitamin B12, zinc, iron, just to name a few). Not unexpectedly, there’s also a lot of sodium in each burger. I would certainly recommend these burgers and get them again.

Patties are thin but other than that I think they're decent!
It’s a pretty basic product but it’s a great meat substitute.
