No plastic! Absorbent but a little small. The container tends to get destroyed quickly if you keep these in a bag or purse too. Two of these sorted me through COVID (I was just blowing my nose on them, I hasten to add)

Very cool product, I bought them individually and they come without any plastic. The tissues are in a little box.
