As with all milk-replacements, it's about taste... which wasn't very good in this case, at

least not to our taste. No sugar, good for them tho but DM has a much better almond milk with a higher percentage of almond paste (I mean, come on, this only has 3%). Also, we find it outrageous that the source of the almond paste is not shown on the packaging -- is it from California, like 80% of the world's almond production? We would like to draw all vegans' attention to the environmental impact almond and almond related products have on the environment (recommended reading: https://sustainability.ucsf.edu/1.713): California is a very dry state, hence there is a terrible waste of water + the cost and environmental impact of shipping all those almonds around the world (read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_impact_of_shipping). So buy local almonds, if you can! Also, companies should put where the almonds or are from on the label. Last, but not least - the carton itself... we kinda regret buying it not, it is probably gonna end up in a landfill somewhere in South-East Asia (now that China has stopped buying up western 'recyclables').... go #zerowaste, ppl! Refuse, reduce, reuse!
