i believe they’re vg alternatives to porkpies, and i welcome that. They are full of flavour, just a bit much for me. To be fair, i have never had a pork pie, and they are well-rated here, so you might consider trying for yourself. The plant chef range at Tesco’s does put out a decent range of products. These are sooo worth the price. I struggle to believe there isn’t some addictive chemical in them because I just can’t get enough. They are flavourful and perfect for a picnic and lunchtime snack. £2.45 from Tesco
Subtle flavours, lightly-seasoned filling. Tastes nice and it works really well for a light snack.
These are a bit dry and don't taste like much, and if cooked with water or sauce they do produce a soggy bottom!! Eat two and be fullfilled because they are quite heavy, too!
