These black sesame seeds are the perfect finishing touch to rice bowls, not only for
the nice visual contrast they provide! They have a nutty flavor that is especially pronounced when you toast them. This is my one of my favorite dishes to make when I’m craving fresh ingredients and veggies. Here’s what I put in:
- sautéed bok choy with a ton of ginger and garlic
- crispy tofu
- cucumber (with rice vinegar, salt, fresh ginger and a dash of agave)
- mango with lime
- sauce: sautéed ginger, garlic, white sesame seeds, tamari, sesame oil, sriracha, agave, rice vinegar cooked down
- shaved carrots
- sushi rice
