An interesting idea, although maybe not really up my alley, as I don’t tolerate spicy food that well 😂 it was kinda mushy and it almost disappeared when I cooked it (the picture is before cooking), but it was convenient to have in the pantry, in order to make a quick dinner with tempeh tonight #jackfruit

Very creative way to use jackfruit. I like it! Five out of five stars.
Not my favourite option from their #cannedfood range 😐 I know that braised #jackfruit is a thing, but I just find that the texture is too soft and mushy that way. Definitely prefer it grilled until it firms up 😐 #sriracha has never been a favourite either, probably one of the variations on #spicy that I am genuinely indifferent to. They recommend eating this out of the tin, but by the second go I was grilling (then frying) in an attempt to find a better texture. They also say you can directly top pizzas and fill sandwiches with this; I guess I'll never find out 😖 #lazyvegan #veganisnotscary
This jackfruit was pretty good. The sauce was a little watery and I didn’t taste the sriracha, but still nice in a burrito or on a salad. #veganisnotscary
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from eating at mamaks, it’s that even the most rancid soon-to-expire ingredients can be made better by throwing curry and ramen noodles at the problem 🥴 Look at slide 2, the colour of this thing is awful and it hardly tastes like sriracha. The #jackfruit was stale and tastes like they’ve had the very lives boiled out of them.
