This shit is always good 😁 One of the things that I genuinely miss from
pre-veg days is #bakkwa; that sweet smoky tenderness that slowly spreads across the palate as you chew away 🤤 Nobody has had given me a completely convincing #fakemeat version of it, but all the contenders are eerily similar in terms of end product. It's generally #mushroom based, and a sheet that has the chewiness but is overly thin and overly flat (the rugged texture of the original was part of the fun, come on 😉) The flavour is a bit sweet and a often a bit peppery. I'm waiting for someone to really stand out 🙂
The slices in this product were tricky to separate out of the pouch. Just saying 😏
