#solcuisine #stuffedturky #vegan #veganisnotscary #plantbasedfood #plantbased I’m not sure I would pay the regular price around $20 for this stuffed plant-based roast, but Metro was clearing these out around Christmas for less than $4!!! So I took 2 of the last 3. I would’ve felt too guilty if I didn’t leave 1 for another customer. I think I paid $3.74 which was absolutely phenomenal. Fantastic value. Regardless of the price, this stuffed plant-based turk’y roast was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t that big, which was a disappointment and it came with 2 packs of gravy. Personally, I think 1 pack would’ve been sufficient and that’s all I used. I’ll use the other package of gravy with something else. The roast had a wonderful, crunchy breaded coating. The ‘meat’ certainly had a turkey flavour. There were bits of vegetables in the stuffing. As usual, there was more sodium that I would like, but the roast provides a good amount of fibre, protein and iron. Cooking it was extremely easy in that I just took the roast out of the package put in a covered pan, and popped it in the oven. No basting was required and it didn’t stick to the pan / dish. It doesn’t get much simpler than that. I would definitely get this again, but I would be reluctant to pay the regular price of about $20.

The price point of this roast (and all store-bought roasts) is usually a turn-off for me, but when I see them on clearance, you better believe they're all going in my cart. This is a really convenient item since you just have to stick it in the oven, and it even comes with a really yummy gravy (and the amount of gravy you get with this one is more than with another brand I've tried in the past). The roast itself isn't very big, but our family of 3 ends up with a small amount leftover when I make it with potatoes and veggies.

#justforthedollar
