I bought this on sale, 2 for $16.90, which is a normal price for non-dairy
ice cream.
I love mint chip and so I wanted to love this but sadly I did not. I think it is because I bought the sugar free version, but in my defense, they don’t sell the regular one in this store.
Firstly, the texture of this is not like ice cream at all. When I tried scooping it, it came apart from shaved ice, which was really weird. It is not creamy rather more watery texture.
Secondly, the taste is not good at all. It tasted like aftershave? Im not sure how to describe it, but the minty taste and the ice cream just didn’t go well together. Although, I would say that the dark chocolate shavings were quite nice and rich. But sadly, it couldn’t save this.
Lastly, the aftertaste of this is horrible. Maybe it is just a personal preference, but I hate the aftertaste of stevia. You can just tell right away that it is sugar free from that taste left in your tongue.
I like that this brand churns out non-dairy ice cream, but sadly I didn’t like this one. I wouldn’t buy this again, but I would like to give their other sugar added ice creams a chance.
