Skittles Original

Well known #accidentallyvegan candies! The original bag contains 5 flavours: #strawberry, #lemon, orange, #lime and

blackcurrant. (In some countries it’s grape flavoured!)

The flavours are very artificial and candy-like as expected. They are also very #sweet! I personally like that a lot but it’s not for everyone. You can still clearly tell that they match the #fruits, expect the red one which I find to be slightly cherry-like in addition to the strawberry. The #orange and #blackcurrant are my personal favourites.

They have a thin crunchy sugar shell on the outside, it isn’t very hard at all and is satisfying to bite into!
I don’t find these to get stuck to the teeth much. While they are nicely #chewy they don’t take much ‘effort’ to eat either.

The bag has a resealable sticker and has no clear mention about recycling.
They are #soyfree, #glutenfree and #nutfree.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 We grabbed a few bags of fun size Skittles for trick

or treaters this year. You know, "back in my day...." Skittles weren't vegan! Luckily they dropped the gelatin quite a while ago before many other vegan options were available.
I used to love these but not much these days because they are too chewy and stick to your teeth 😬🪥. But I know the trick or treaters will love them, plus they don't have a lot of common allergens!

Much as I was hoping to taste the rainbow, by the time I opened this

little bottle there were only two colours left. Children are such particular and sneaky with snacks and sweets 😅🧐 It’s alright, I still got enough #forthedollar 👌

At least I got two seventh’s of the rainbow. Orange and lemon though, only citrus choices. It’s still the perfect sweet that’s easy on the go and not too chewy. All for the #sweettooth vegans out there 👏

It’s cool that it has 2 slots appropriated almost like a piggy bank: one big opening latch and a smaller one on the rim. I’m not sure why but I was surprised to find this bottle is actually #recyclable plastic ♻️ 2 HDPE. Good to know…

RM 7 per bottle doesn’t sound too bad, especially since it’s a more expensive packaging compared to the sealed plastic alternative 🥸
