ingredient is almonds which means it doesn’t have this overwhelming coconut taste most vegan cheese has. It has a savoury, slightly spicy taste which I love. I wish it was available to buy in the UK. #vegancheese #vegangermany

Da crudo ha il solito sapore di olio di cocco, anche se notevolmente migliore

di altri.
Ma il meglio arriva quando si scalda. Si scioglie tantissimo e ricorda l’Emmental.

Io poi ci faccio un condimento per la pasta super zozzo mischiandolo alla panna e ad un altro formaggio rivelazione che sa di provola… una goduria!

Peccato che tra poco si parta per tornare in Italia, altrimenti l’avrei ripreso.

Tried the SimplyV sliced cheese for the first time after a recommendation from a friend.

Overall I was moderately satisfied with the product. Definitely a lot better than many other vegan cheese slices on the market such as Violife or Daiya, both in terms of taste and nutrition. Some cheesy flavor, decent nutrition, and decent appearance. No off flavors. However the texture is a bit rubbery. I didn’t try to melt it yet. Definitely adds a nice look and mouthfeel when added to a sandwich. Give it a try and see what you think! I found this in Sweden but it’s a German company :)
