I wasn’t a fan of this Simple Truth plant based meat. I think I’ll stick to gardien, beyond and impossible. This didn’t brown as I cooked it and that threw me off presentation wise. It taste OK seasoned and thrown in a taco but definitely didn’t have its own meaty flavor that I think the other brands offer. Would I buy it again? No, but I would eat it again if it was served to me. #veganmeat #simpletruth #veganisnotscary
On sale for only $2.99! This brand is supremely underrated. Made these into burgers and they were delicious. I honestly like these better than Beyond Meat’s ground beef, and I don’t have to spend a million dollars on it, even when it isn’f on sale. Love to see store brands getting on board with products like these.
I did NOT like this 🤢 it smells funny and tastes like cat food or dog food. It isn’t even worth the price. I tried making it edible with spices and making stuffed cheeze burgers out of it but nothing could overpower the flavor it has.
