Yes, I did yassify these #instantnoodles but it’s only because I’ve apparently had them before and then completely forgot about them 🙊 I usually make it a point to remember #spicynoodles! …but these just really aren’t 🫤 They’re like a 1/10 spicy 🌶️ The instructions do tell you to make a soup, which I did, and as a soup it’s really warm and cosy 😋 I find it way too salty if you prepare it dry like @m1tch9i does 😖 but again, not #spicy at all! That makes it a tough sell compared to their also #accidentallyvegan regular #noodles 🤷♀️ On the grand scale of #instantramen you can’t beat NONGSHIM (농심) in terms of #umami and noodle texture. I liked this instant noddle soup. For me it was a bit too hot but I have to become a bit tougher.
This dish is like an Anti-Christmas party and a Diwali party happening at once in my mouth and at the moment, the relatives are all fighting. Is it uncomfortably spicy? Yes. Is it going to burn my ass? Probably. Am I going to google what chemicals are in it so I can try and replicate the flavour? Yes. Will I eat it again should the opportunity present itself? Yes. Should you stop being a wuss and eat it? Yes. So the packet comes with clear instructions on how to cook it. I did exactly that. Even took the same pot as in the visualisation. It has a packet of the spice mixture and a packet of 'flakes' which are dehydrated carrots, red pepper, green onion, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and vegetable protein. But why you should like this post regardless is because I low-key dipped my phone's camera into the pot to get a picture of the bloody flakes and took it out before my lens would experience any heat damage.
