Sprühfertige Schlagcreme

This is the only vegan sprayable whipped cream I've come across here, and it makes for a quick fluffy topping. Sadly it's pretty much made of palm oil 🤧 and has a slight aftertaste #creamy

Just a couple of days ago I said: I really wish I’d find a vegan whipped cream. I went to Migros a couple of days later and I found this! I was very excited to try it. The taste is very similar to a regular whipped cream, probably less sweet though. Texture is also very similar but has somewhat of a oily finish, it’s hard to explain but it’s like a tactile sensation when it’s on the lips which makes me associate the cream to some oil-like product. The ingredient list however is terrible, with palm oil stated as the second ingredient (although it’s coming from certified sources). If you scan this on Yuka the score is 4/100, which is really bad. The main reason is probably that the amount of fat in this product is too high (16 grams per 100 grams), and it’s interesting to see that on the packaging it says it has 46% less fat than dairy whipped cream: makes you think about how unhealthy the “traditional” whipped cream actually is. #schlagfix I was both impressed and disappointed with this product. The impressive part was the flavor, this #cream tasted really good and slightly #sweet. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but this was superior to any non-vegan equivalent I've tried in the past. Very light and fluffy, I almost enjoyed this more than the cake I made to go with it, lol. On the disappointing side, there's not a whole lot of cream in this #spraycan, I'd say it's actually far less than the non-vegan, and that just makes this not worth buying for me, because you barely get any use out of it, doubtful it'd be enough to decorate or fill a average size cake with... In addition, the last bit I got out of the can was pretty much just liquid cream mush, would've needed a straw or a spoon to get it up from the plate. Perhaps the boxed version is better, I'll try that next time I need cream. Price: 49 NOK @ Diggbox
