To feed my acai bowl addiction or just to add to our kale/spinach smoothies, I think this does the job of adding some sweet iciness, especially during the sweltering weather we’re having these days. If eaten alone as an ice-cream, I don’t think it compares with the vegan ice-creams now available on the market. As an addition to a smoothie, also cannot compare to adding frozen fruit like bananas, mango, strawberries and cherries. Given this is quite a costly treat to be adding to our smoothies daily, we buy it once in a while to change up our routine, but wouldn’t use it with wild abandon on a regular basis. This is the sweetened version with cane syrup, but it is also available unsweetened (may not be in the pint size though). We previously tried their individual packs of unsweetened acai and quite liked it, may revert to the unsweetened version when buying again as we could do without the extra sweetness here.

If you know me, you know the key to my heart is through açaí. I’m always on the hunt to find the best açaí bowls around me, which is a mildly expensive hobby to have. Plus, whenever I want açai I’d have to wait for a good 30 mins minimum for it to deliver to my house. I decided to take matters into my own hands, to have açaí on demand 😂 I tried out a lot of different “acai sorbets” and this one tastes exactly like the ones you get at cafes because it’s the exact brand most cafes use (I checked!). Since I’m super lazy, this sorbet comes in clutch because all I have to do is scoop it into a bowl and put a bunch of toppings on. I bought mine at Project Açaí, but I believe you can find it at fairprice and shopee!
