hot so it's fine. It is really high in sodium so I try to skimp on the paste to make it a little healthier. This is really easy to make- basically heat some faux meat in a pan, poor water over it, dissolve the curry paste in the water and heat until it's thickened.

flavor is accidentally vegan — none of the honey or dairy of other brands here! Unfortunately, it does contain palm oil. The medium hot is extremely mild, so sometimes I’ll add a pinch of cayenne for more heat. Japanese #curry is meant to be a bit sweet, though; you can really doctor the flavor up with some grated apple, ketchup, or even chocolate. It’s perpetually on sale at my local Japanese market, and each box of roux is good for about two pots of curry with lots of leftovers, especially if you’re generous with the add-ins!
