I had forgotten about it until now. It was a very appropriate gift for Valentine’s Day. Note that the rigatoni pasta is heart-shaped. Hence the name: Rigatoni + Cuore (Italian for “heart”) = Rigacuore. The pasta doesn’t taste any differently from any other pasta (at least, I don’t think so), but it still tasted great. I cooked it al dente. I love its unique shape too. The pasta held my vegan Bolognese sauce wonderfully. The ‘ground beef’ was Yves Cuisine Veggie Ground. One fifth of the bag (100 grams of the 500 gram package) provides 14 grams of protein! The Rigacuore is also low in sodium. I assume this bag was imported from Italy as the entire package is written in Italian; there’s no English or French. But if I find this pasta in the store, I’d definitely buy it.
