On a recent shopping trip to No Frills, I arbitrarily opted for the raspberry jam. This jam does the job which is to complement and sweeten peanut butter. But it’s sweet; 1 tablespoon contains 8% of your day’s worth of sugar which compares favourably with the amount of sugar in No Name’s strawberry jam. Its sweetness is not surprising considering the first ingredient is “sugars” (plural). No offence to No Name, but I prefer jams with chunks of fruit. I think PC jams have pieces of fruit in them, but they’re ridiculously priced. It’s ‘only’ jam, so I won’t pay too much of a premium for a preferred jam, so I chose No Name solely based on price. This jar was $4.99 at No Frills; I thought this price was high, but it was better/lower than other options available.  Regardless of price, I love raspberry jam, and I really like No Name Raspberry Jam. I will get this again.
