It was ok, nothing special; I was expecting better, given that I generally like Ginsters' products. Not healthful: apparently 54% of the daily saturated fat 'allowance'. RRP £1.30, which is on the cheaper side compared to some & ok these days for a pasty, but more expensive than some offerings from Morrison's.

It has been many years since I have tried any Gingsters products. I didn't like them. When I saw this reduced in Tesco I thought I would try it. It was okay, not haute cuisine but suitable if you are hungry and need a quick snack. Quite peppery which I like that.
I really enjoyed this peppered steak slice - the pastry is lovely, light & flaky, and the filling has a great savoury meaty flavour from the marinaded quorn & onion, it also has plenty of pepper (much tastier than the Ginsters Quorn pasty imo). 😋 A decent size & reasonably priced at £1.30 (Tesco). 👍
Really juicy and yummy. Can be eaten hot or cold. I prefer to heat it in the microwave however it does become a bit soggy and floppy making it hard to repackage and eat. £1.30 from Tesco
I wasn't expecting much from this as I have a history of not loving Quorn products and I think beef/steak is hard to replicate. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it came to this. It tastes almost identical to how I remember the non-vegan version tasting. It's not revolutionary or anything, but it's decent if you want a quick snack. It does have a very slight coconut aftertaste, but it's hardly noticeable. It's mainly just peppery and slightly beefy.
